St. Christopher
Description
Inspired by the St. Christopher token I once got in a fortune teller machine on a pier at the seaside. As a child I didn’t know a lot about the funny saint token I’d been given, but my grandmother was adamant that it was important. That was how I discovered St. Christopher was the patron saint of travellers and travel.
Turns out he was seen as a patron saint to mariners, sailors, mountaineers, drivers and even surfers. With medals of the saint being worn by seafarers to help with safe passage.
Whether you believe in the saint or not, ever since learning this I’ve always had a fondness for any St. Christophers I find. A traveller myself I like these little tokens of luck in travel.
So whether you’re the traveller or you know someone that doesn’t like to stay in one place too long, this little ring is for you.
